We’re excited to welcome David Jolly, Democratic candidate for governor of Florida, as our special guest speaker. David grew up in Florida as the son of a pastor and now lives in Pinellas County with his wife Laura and their family. He served in Congress from 2014–2017, where he championed veterans and seniors, supported law enforcement, protected Florida’s environment, and fought government corruption…work that earned national attention and praise for his independence. Since leaving Congress, Jolly has become a well-known political analyst on MSNBC, with his commentary featured in The New York Times, The Washington Post, CNN, and more. He holds degrees from Emory University and George Mason University School of Law.

David will be speaking about the issues that matter most to our community and will take questions directly from those in attendance. This is a great chance to hear from a major candidate and connect with fellow Democrats in Hillsborough County.
